I have read the echos from Tommi Koivula and Joacim Melin regarding
Compiling Nodelist.
First I compiled binkd with perl support and then added nodelist to
perl-vars and so as Tommi wrote in his messages.
When I start binkd I get a message "No nodelist found"
-----
In binkd.conf I've got:
-----
perl-var magichost *
perl-var nodelist fsxnet:/var/spool/ftn/filebase/nodelist/FSXNET.[0-9][0-9][0-9]
perl-var nodelist fidonet:/var/spool/ftn/filebase/nodelist/nodelist.[0-9][0-9][0-9]
perl-hooks /var/spool/ftn/filebase/nodelist/nodelist.pl
------
Maybe you should have these lines in this order:
1. perl-hooks /bbs/nodelist.pl
2. perl-var nodelist fidonet:/bbs/nodelist.ndl
3. perl-var magichost !
I don't know if it helps...

Why the nodelist has ndl extension?

Why the nodelist has ndl extension?
Why not?
