    I think the %REALNAME parameter is the first step. That one is "required". I missed that in the current welcome message. Stas uses that as a way to ensure we have real people participating before any messages get routed to Fidonet.

    Moreover, some echoes require the name and address matching the nodelist (case sensitive).

    Huh? A nodelist name match doesn't make sense if it's a "user"
    coming onboard from the Tg side. Or.. are you doing an exact
    Name+Node match for your own non-english echos?

    coming onboard from the Tg side. Or.. are you doing an exact
    Name+Node match for your own non-english echos?

    It's done for sysop's echoes.
