    Trump's statement

    "We took away the freedom of speech"

    He signed an executive order that criminalizes certain activities. He seriously thinks he has the authority to do this.

    For example, if you burn an American flag in the street during a protest and get arrested, Trump says you'll get a year in jail.

    That's because it irritates people.

    This is what Trump officially announced. As if Trump can determine punishments...

    The question, of course, is how far Republican politicians are willing to go with this and whether it will stand up in court. After all, it violates Article 1 of the US Constitution.

    It does indicate that the Democrats were right when they said Trump would take away fundamental rights and rule as a dictator. That's what he's trying to do now. Things are getting worse in the US every day, and American society AND politics seem incapable of stopping this trend.

    Where will this end?
