This was great news. First Peri Fractic buys Commodore, now this.
What's next, parachute pants come back in style? MTV actually shows
music videos? It's a good time to be retro.
I've often said how much I miss the old "glossy magazines" from back in the day, so I was happy to see that there's a new magazine dedicated to what we call Retro Computing.
It's called COMPUTE!s GAZETTE, and you can check it out at:
https://computesgazette.com
You can download a PDF of a sample issue there, so just click on "Dive
In" and scroll to the bottom of the next page to find the link.
You can also buy the full issue, and/or subscribe to future issues
there, too. It's not cheap, but I think it's a noble effort and one we should support if we can afford to. I bought the Premiere issue, and almost immediately got a full PDF, with the print issue about to be
mailed out.
By the way, it's got a nice article about FujiNet, which I've beenfuji net is so cool!
accused of being a "cheerleader" for, and Thom Cherryhomes did a nice
job of pointing out the details.
