    Mike,

    The Story...
This day commemorates all boss's who provide a positive
    and
professional work environment to the workers of
    America.

Years ago, in New England, there was a textiles manufacturing
facility, run by a Jewish entrepreneur. Right before Thanksgiving,
the plant was destroyed by fire.

The employees faced an uncertain future, with no money for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, and beyond...let alone a job.

Yet, the owner settled quickly with the insurance, and the plant
was quickly rebuilt. The key was that he continued to pay all of
the employees during the downtime and rebuilding. When the plant
reopened in the spring, they were ready to kiss his feet. He was
there when they needed him...now, they were more than ready to
work extra hours to catch up, and return the favor.

Sadly, there are very few employer-employee relationships like
    this anymore.

And unfortunately, most employees have the feeling that "BOSS
spelled backwards is Double SOB". :P
