    Description:
Two new reports have seemingly revealed fresh details about Avengers: Doomsday's trailer launch and Loki's role in the Marvel movie.

FULL STORY ======================================================================Two new rumors about Avengers: Doomsday have emerged online One relates to its first trailer, the other to Loki's role in the Marvel movie MCU fans have expressed disappointment over the latest gossip

Another day, another round of Avengers: Doomsday speculation and, this time, Marvel fans aren't exactly pleased about what they've seen and heard.

Over the last 24 hours, two new rumors have circulated online about Loki's role in the movie and the release of Doomsday 's first teaser. Unlike other leaks that have emerged recently and being met positively by fans, the latest gossip surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe ( MCU ) film hasn't gone
    down well. At all.

A little bit of housekeeping before you proceed: first, bear in mind that these are just rumors. Marvel hasn't officially announced anything about Doomsday 's trailer or Loki's role in the movie, so take them with a pinch of salt. And, on the off-chance that there is some truth to them, read on at
your own risk because potentially big spoilers might follow for the Marvel Phase 6 flick. Rumor #1: Avengers: Doomsday's trailer might not be released online before December 17 Let's get it out of the way - doesn't sound like it's releasing next week either #AvengersDoomsday https://t.co/4U89cZXliw December 11, 2025

Let's start with that trailer rumor, which, as you'll already seen, implies
it won't be released online before December 17.

According to industry insider DanielRPK, who has a reliable track record with trailer release dates, told his X/Twitter followers that, despite what's been reported, Doomsday 's inaugural teaser isn't set to arrive before that date. Why? Because that's when Avatar: Fire and Ash , the third entry in James Cameron's epic sci-fi film franchise, will begin rolling out in theaters.

In early November, reports indicated Avengers: Doomsday 's first trailer
would arrive before the end of 2025 and run ahead of public screenings of the third Avatar movie. Since then, fan excitement over the teaser's arrival has grown exponentially, with some predicting Doomsda y's first trailer would
make its bow in early December . When that didn't happen, fans quickly hopped on the hype train over a supposed December 11 launch after the Doomsday trailer's runtime was reportedly revealed . Again, that date passed without incident.

So, what's going on now? If we take DanielRPK's latest comments at face
value, it seems that Avengers 5 's first teaser will be attached to Avatar 3 for a limited time.

The Avatar movie series' popularity means it doesn't need help from a Marvel film's teaser to get bums on seats. However, if the comic book giant's parent company Disney can convince MCU fans to buy tickets to see Fire and Ash
solely for the purpose of being some of the first people in the world to see Doomsday 's trailer, they'll make more money from those ticket sales than if they released the next Avengers movie's teaser for free on YouTube.

My best guess is Doomsday trailer #1 will run exclusively ahead of public screenings of Avatar 3 for the first five days that the latter is in
theaters. Then, as a pre-Christmas treat, Marvel will release the teaser on YouTube and its other social media channels on December 22 or 23. Rumor #1: Loki will be a stand-in for the Beyonders in Avengers: Doomsday Loki is currently the only individual holding the Marvel multiverse together (Image credit: Marvel Studios/Disney Plus)

As for the Loki rumor, The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez , whose track record is incredibly spotty at best, has reported that the God of Mischief will be a stand-in for the Beyonders in Doomsday .

I won't get too entrenched in these omnipotent cosmic beings' comic book history because it's quite convoluted. All you need to know is that, in the 2015 version of Marvel's 'Secret Wars' comics storyline, Doctor Doom with help from Doctor Strange and multiversal variants of another superpowered being called Molecule Man killed the Beyonders, who were hell-bent on destroying the Multiverse via numerous Incursions. Molecule Man absorbed
their powers, channelled them into Doom, and allowed him to 'save' the multiverse by creating a single planet known as Battleworld, which the individual now known as God Emperor Doom ruled over.

Okay, so what's this got to do with Loki? In the final episode of Loki season 2 , he essentially becomes the multiverse's protector-in-chief. Indeed, after the Time Loom's destruction in the Disney+ show, Loki saves every timeline, including the MCU, by gathering them together before permanently taking his place at the center of the multiverse.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo told me they've sought inspiration from both 'Secret Wars' comic runs i.e. the 2015 one and its 1985/86 forebear. So, considering Doomsday and its sequel Avengers: Secret Wars will partly adapt the 2015 series' story, it makes sense that, at some point, Doom will go
after Loki. That's especially true if the former needs to acquire the
latter's newfound powers to create Battleworld and removes the need to
further complicate Doomsday 's plot by introducing the Beyonders. How have Marvel fans reacted to these Doomsday rumors? Comment from r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers

As I alluded to in this article's introduction, not well.

Indeed, whether it's in threads on Reddit pages including r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers and r/MarvelStudiosRumors , or a round-up on
X/Twitter , MCU diehards' reactions to these rumors have ranged from unsurprised and understanding, to confused and fury.

Where the latter emotions are concerned, some fans opined that it's
inevitable that the trailer will be secretly recorded by a member of the public and leaked online as soon as possible. Meanwhile, others expressed frustration over Marvel's penchant for rewriting its own history and lore to better suit the overarching narrative it's trying to tell in its cinematic franchise. Im so tired of the mcu re writing shit and the changes they make are almost never as good as the original lore https://t.co/sZNs7F2UjL

Again, it's worth stressing that these rumors are just that: rumors. There
may be an element of truth somewhere in them but, as always, you're best waiting for Marvel/Disney to confirm things before jumping to conclusions.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026 . With another year to go before it's released, get the lowdown on everything we
